Examples of Posture
|
|
A person with a body structure that is well integrated (C) is supported from top to bottom. This is commonly known as good posture, but that's really only part of the story. One can see a balance around an inner axis that suggests strength and confidence. Muscles move freely and are more relaxed. Movement is graceful and effortless. Breathing is full and natural.
- Rolfing is for people who always seem to have a lot of muscle tension (e.g. back, shoulders, neck) or just feel out of balance
- Rolfing is for people who live with one-sided body strain, for example computer workers or musicians, or participants in asymetrical (non)sports like tennis or golf
- Rolfing is for people who would like improved flexibility and body awareness for sport, martial arits, qigong or tai chi, yoga, dance, bodywork, sex, etc.
